DEWALT Laser Level Cross Line Green Beam 20V Bare Tool (One Eighth Inch Accuracy Twelve Volt Battery Compatible Plumb Alignment Interior Construction)

Description:

Scribe Surgical Drop Ceiling Boundaries and Cast Ultra Bright Level references Natively Over Long Ranges

The DEWALT 20V MAX* Cordless Cross Line Green Laser Level is a professional-grade geometric mapping instrument engineered to provide precise interior alignment across commercial jobsites. This battery-powered device projects individual or combined vertical and horizontal lines with a certified technical accuracy rating of plus or minus 1/8-inch at 30 feet. Outfitted with class-leading green beam diodes that deliver four times the visibility of red lasers, this versatile system features a fine adjustment knob for micro-positioning and dual-voltage compatibility with both 12V MAX* and 20V MAX* power grids. **Battery and charger sold separately.

Best Used For:

• Drop Ceiling Layouts: Projecting continuous, stable perimeter line datums unassisted along peripheral wall tracks for acoustic grid clipping.
• Commercial Wall Framing: Casting interlocking vertical and horizontal plumb configurations over steel tracks to align interior studs square.
• Cabinetry and Millwork Leveling: Mapping exact horizontal reference planes across uneven floor lines to mount expansive kitchen and facility cabinetry.

Key Performance & Safety Features

• Dual-Voltage System Parity: Smart internal transformer accepting either 20V MAX* or 12V MAX* lithium-ion cells for seamless fleet support.
• 4X High-Visibility Green Diodes: Advanced wave spectrum emission delivers a brighter, cleaner reference path over standard red beams in lit rooms.
• Independent Split-Line Control: Dedicated toggle switches isolate vertical and horizontal projections to maximize battery runtime benchmarks.
• Heavy-Duty Magnetic Structural Bracket: Permanent rare-earth magnets hold the chassis flush against structural steel profiles even when loaded with dense 8.0Ah batteries.
• Transit Pendulum Safety Lock: Mechanical side slider immobilizes internal self-leveling gimbals to stop calibration drift during truck transit.
• Fine Micro-Adjustment Knob: Fine-threaded mechanical gearing allows operators to dial in surgical beam placements without losing manual base indexing.

PRO-TIP: When locking this cordless line laser to steel studs under high ambient shop lighting, snap the integrated magnet bracket flush into the structural track intersections. Let the green cross lines settle in self-leveling mode before sliding the mechanical pendulum lock on; using the micro-fine adjustment knob enables you to sweep references across long spans without jostling the physical base out of square.
